Why You Ask?

Good question. As most of you know my house burnt down in oct of 2012 and the loss was staggering. Myself, My Soulmate Willow, Itty Bitty the Kitty and Morgan the lab all got out safely. And thats all that really matters.

The universe has gifted me wth the knowledge that I was not moving in the right direction. So, instead of dumping all my resources and energy into rebuilding what I have lost, I have decided to go and do something a little different.

On Dec 30th 2012 I will be leaving on the journey of a lifetime. I will be backpacking and tent camping in Costa Rica, Ecuador, Peru, Australia, Indonesia, Cambodia, Thailand, Nepal, and Tibet and back to denver in the middle of june 2013.

So why you ask? Well breaking it down to the basics, soul searching, self discovery, pushing the limits and testing the mind, body, spirit and soul. Discovery of amazing cultures and beauty. To show myself that we really dont need all that we think we need to stay healthy and happy. All the THINGS that dont serve us. These are all descriptions that come to mind when trying to explain this journey. It is much deeper than a vacation and although fun will be had, I look to gain much more.
